The profit of the PKO Bank Polski Capital Group for 9 months of 2022 amounted to PLN 1 601 million. During this period, the Bank systematically increased the scale of its operations and noted an improvement in the result on business activities. As a result, the group's assets increased to PLN 439 billion, and the number of Clients reached 11.6 million. The bank's result in the third quarter was decisively influenced by the launch of government payment holidays and the cost of payments to the Borrowers’ Support Fund. The reported net loss in the third quarter was PLN 237 million. PKO Bank Polski continued its digital transformation by introducing new features in the IKO mobile application and dynamically increasing the share of remote channels and bots in customer service. At the beginning of October, the Bank launched a virtual PKO Rotunda in the metaverse, which will serve as a digital laboratory for building banking know-how in the field of presence in the metaworlds.
