The profit of the PKO Bank Polski Group in the first half of 2022 amounted to PLN 1,838 million. The bank increased its income from core activities by over 1/3 and systematically increased the scale of its operations. As a result, the group's assets increased to PLN 429 billion at the end of the first half of the year, and the number of customers reached 11.5 million. The bank's result in the second quarter was significantly influenced by regulatory costs, including the initial fee exceeding PLN 870 million to the aid fund of the Commercial Bank Protection System. In Q2, PKO Bank Polski continued its digital transformation by introducing new functions in the IKO mobile app and dynamically increasing the share of remote channels and bots in customer service.

Thanks to the development of digital tools, including the IKO application, which is actively used by 6.8 million customers, PKO Bank Polski is the most mobile bank in Poland. The company strengthens its foreign presence through corporate branches operating in Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
